Claudia V. Montanía is an Economic Impact Analyst at the University of Arizona's Cooperative Extension and Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. Her research examines the role of sectoral linkages and spatial interactions among regions, exploring their impact on agricultural growth and their implications for land and water use in agricultural activities. Additionally, she has studied the capacity of collective action and social capital to mitigate economic vulnerability. Previously, she worked at the United Nations Development Programme Accelerator Laboratory in Paraguay.

Jose H. Quintero is an Agricultural Enterprise Analyst at the University of Arizona's Cooperative Extension and Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

Jose specializes in applied economic analysis with a focus on food, agriculture, and natural resource-related topics. As part of the AREC extension team, he is involved in cost-of-production studies for field crops, vegetables, fruit and nut orchards, vineyards, livestock, and other agricultural industries; much of his work is focused on the continued development of the Arizona Vegetable Budgets, the Arizona Field Crop Budgets, the Cost and Return Estimates for the state's livestock industry, and the Arizona Farm Machinery cost estimates.

Dari Duval is an Economic Impact Analyst at the University of Arizona's Cooperative Extension and Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. Dari specializes in applied regional economic analysis with a focus on agriculture and natural resource related topics. As part of the Extension Regional Economic Analysis team, she is involved in working to serve the needs of Cooperative Extension and its stakeholders such as Arizona agricultural and agribusiness industries, natural resource users and organizations, and regional groups to provide specialized analysis and targeted information.

Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness Agricultural Economics Policy Extension Area: Farm & Ranch Management Marketing & Risk Management

Dr. Tronstad’s research interests include agricultural marketing, risk management, international trade, and operations research methods. Fruit and vegetable commodities, range livestock, and field crops are a part of his research and extension activities. Much of his work focuses on decision tools and aids that jointly consider production, marketing, and risk factors. He is a past co-editor of the Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness Extension Area: Farm & Ranch Management Marketing & Risk Management

Mr. Teegerstrom joined the Department faculty in 1997. His main areas of concentration are production economics and risk management education. In Arizona, much of his work is focused on the continued development of the Arizona Vegetable Budgets, the Arizona Field Crop Budgets, the Cost and Return Estimates for the state's livestock industry, and the Arizona Farm Machinery cost estimates. He is currently involved in a number of regional studies covering agricultural labor and risk management. Mr. Teegerstrom is a member of the Western Farm Management Extension Committee and a board member for Southwest Indian Agriculture Association (SWIAA). Extension Area: Environmental & Natural Resource Policy Regional Economic Analysis

Dr. Frisvold joined the faculty at The University of Arizona in 1997. He has been a visiting scholar at the National Institute of Rural Development in Hyderabad, India, a lecturer at The Johns Hopkins University, and Chief of the Resource and Environmental Policy Branch of USDA's Economic Research Service.

His research interests include domestic and international environmental policy, as well as the causes and consequences of technological change in agriculture. In 1995-96, Dr. Frisvold served as a Senior Economist for the President's Council of Economic Advisers with responsibility for agricultural, natural resource, and international trade issues. He is currently an associate editor for two journals: Pest Management Science and Water Economics and Policy. In 2020, Dr. Frisvold co-authored the National Academies of Science, Engineering, & Medicine report, Safeguarding the Bioeconomy: Finding Strategies for Understanding, Evaluating, and Protecting the Bioeconomy while Sustaining Innovation and Growth.
